Breast Cancer Charity Event.

To mark the union of the East and West churches, Elizabeth Martin has designed a new hanging for the Parish church in the form of a tree. It is proposed to ask you to sponsor a leaf with your name on it and it will then form part of the design. Leaves are available for signing NOW.

As the names will not easily be seen, the intention is to have a framed list of those who have contributed alongside the finished hanging. We would suggest a minimum donation of £5 per leaf. Hopefully many members and their families will wish to be part of this new hanging and in this way leave a lasting record of the church family today.

To raise funds for the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice we are very pleased to announce a concert by Peter Nardini. The concert will take place of Wednesday 29th November in the Kilbarchan Performing Arts Centre.

To reserve tickets please phone George or Myra on the number shown on the poster. The price of the tickets will be the usual £12.50. As always the layout is café style and BYOB - and there will be a raffle on the night.

We hope as many as possible can come along and support one of our favourite charities.

We need more of our organisations to provide up-to-date information.
Not just times and dates but also pictures and news. The more information we can share the greater the possibility of attracting new faces. Please send information and photos to kilbarchankirk@gmail.com .
Many thanks to the organisations who regularly keep us supplied with information.
Remember to bring back leaflets and orders of service
from any churches or faith groups visited over the summer. These are a good reminder of our brothers and sisters in the wider church family and faith communites.

George Grant has very kindly offered to sell copies of the re-recording of his LP '90768' with all the proceds going to the Raise the Roof Appeal.

George first recorded the album in 1976 on a four-track in his bedroom and it has become quite a sought after piece of vinyl with there being only 50 original copies.

George was contacted by a source in Japan with an offer of repackaging the LP on CD format along with redesigned cover and sleeve notes.

90768 is a lovely acoustic reminiscence of a childhood growing up in and around railway stations.

If you would like a copy then George will be more than pleased to exchange one for a very reasonable £5. Bargain.

Items that Renfrewshire Foodbank are short of at the moment are: tinned potatoes, tinned tomatoes, pasta sauces, jam,  juice,  sugar, biscuits, snacks.
Everyone's continuing support is greatly appreciated.
If you would like to be added to the list
of members who do scripture readings on a Sunday please give your name to Myra Grant.
