The drama group is open to anyone aged 16 and over. The group produces a play each November and meets in the church halls on Monday evenings from August onwards. Past productions have included 'Agatha Crusty and the Village Hall Murders', 'Allo,Allo', 'Season’s Greetings' , 'Arsenic and Old Lace' and 'Murdered to Death'
The emphasis is on fun as well as presenting as professional a drama as possible. The group would welcome new members either on stage or behind the scenes.
Our November production of The Even Greater Escape was performed on Thursday 24th, Friday 25th and Saturday 26th. Played to good numbers in the hall each night we can safely call it yet another successful show.
At the end of March it will be 40 years since the members of the group gave their first performance, having been formed by Rev Blair Gillon. To celebrate, the group are organising a "Singalonga Mary Poppins" on Saturday 25th March in the hall at 6.30pm, with a buffet supper. Costumes from the 1910 period will be much appreciated. Tickets - £5, £2 for children.
